What changed

We updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to say how the Books feature (our bookkeeping add-on, also called TheGuyBooks) really works. Books runs on TheGuyBooks, a separate bookkeeping platform, on its own systems in the United States, not inside TheGuys App's database. You sign in to Books with a separate Books password through TheGuyBooks' login, and TheGuyBooks keeps that login (your email, your password in scrambled form, and any extra sign-in check you turn on) separately from your TheGuys App login, under its own Privacy Policy. Your Books subscription stays with TheGuys App: we set the price, we bill you, we support you, and you cancel in Account settings. TheGuyBooks stores and processes your books for us and does not use them for anything else. If your subscription ends, your books are suspended, not deleted, and you can still get an export through us. For any privacy question about your books, ask us. These changes take effect on November 15, 2026. If you do not use Books, nothing about how you use TheGuys App changes.
